Marketing Content Specialist

The Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for writing copy, organizing, and producing content for marketing activities for B2B clients in a variety of industries (manufacturers, law firms, insurance, to name a few). This role leans heavily toward digital content and includes a wide mix of areas such as: blogging, website, search engine optimization, social media, whitepapers, email/automation, webinars, and paid advertising. This role and the wider marketing team works in close collaboration with internal partners and stakeholders, as well as external stakeholders to deliver objectives and help achieve marketing goals.


  • Write, edit, and organize marketing content
  • Research and network, internally/externally, to develop compelling and concise copy for a variety of of B2B clients and for Bellomy’s marketing efforts
  • Edit and create new messaging for websites; outline recommendations to improve user experience
  • Develop social media posts and editorial targets
  • Craft B2B email marketing campaigns
  • Outline or script product and brand videos for social and web
  • Gain understanding of services offered, target audience, and competition
  • Tailor technical subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Participate in a variety of marketing communications projects to improve content organization and ensure process efficiencies

Skills and/or experience:

  • 5+ years experience or equivalent exposure to a corporate or agency environment
  • BA or BS degree with focus on Marketing, Journalism or related field
  • Examples of demonstrated skill with writing with experience with content creation and management for websites, advertising, social, presentations, etc., with emphasis on digital marketing
  • Adept at marketing with various marketing platforms, analytics platforms, and support tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Comfortable with website content management systems (Drupal, Wordpress) and SEO concepts
  • Organized, inquisitive, outgoing, self-starter are key traits for success in this role
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; basic knowledge of Adobe CS a plus
