Market Research Client Services Account Team Leader

Bellomy is a full-service market research consultancy and technology company providing strategic insights to our national client base.

Our Client Services professionals are the cornerstone of our client partnerships; through the execution of a wide variety of methodologies, they build strong relationships, work cross-functionally within the organization to elevate our services, discover new ways to solve business problems, and leverage their skills and knowledge to provide clients with a meaningful point-of-view.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced market researcher and leader to manage a team of individuals within our Client Services team focused on a major Fortune 100 client in the grocery space. The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience leading a team of five or more individuals in market research execution
  • Strong leadership skills, able to motivate a team of research professionals to grow individually and achieve superior quality results
  • Experience serving a large client using a broad array of research methods
  • Proven experience designing and executing custom market research projects from start to finish featuring both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Experience with advanced analytic methodologies such as conjoint, TURF, max-diff, key driver analysis, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with clients and colleagues and present research findings and insights in a clear and compelling manner
  • Expertise in data storytelling, able to make complex data concise and structured, draw implications, choose effective visualizations, and create clear and actionable reports

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee team execution, making sure the necessary resources are in place to ensure superior quality work and timely delivery
  • Mentor and train staff members to enhance research and client-interaction skills
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and guidance throughout the research process, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the development of proposals to win new projects
  • Provide oversight and, as necessary, project management to develop and execute market research plans, including project design, data collection, and analysis and reporting
  • Consult with project teams and clients on analysis and reporting, delivering research findings and business insights
  • Continually elevate client deliverables across a team of researchers, clients, and analysts by leveraging expertise as a data storyteller and writer, leader, and team builder
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research techniques and trends, and integrate new approaches into our offerings
  • Monitor and enhance financial performance at project and account levels
  • Partner with other leaders in our Client Services team to positively impact the direction of our organization as a whole

Requirements:

  • Experience managing custom market research projects from start to finish and building strong, professional client relationships
  • Experience managing a team of research professionals in market research execution
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Effective management skills (managing people, projects, and clients)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to superior quality work
  • Familiarity with advanced analytic methodologies such as conjoint, TURF, max-diff, segmentations, key driver analysis, etc.
  • Strategic and creative thinker, expert communicator
  • Able to draw implications from large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data and articulate them clearly and simply
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and comfortable collaborating with teammates through MS Teams
  • Analytical skills—proficiency with various statistical software and data analysis tools is a plus
  • Able to travel occasionally
